Make your value demand
easier to understand.
When another driver caused the loss, a documented appraisal gives you evidence to support your position. Our report-only package includes a vehicle appraisal and materials to help you prepare and send your own value demand.
A report, a clear explanation,
and a practical demand package.
Independent vehicle appraisal
A supported opinion of the vehicle’s pre-loss value, with relevant vehicle details, market evidence and an explanation of the valuation approach.
Demand-letter materials
An editable vehicle-value demand letter using your claim facts and appraisal findings. You review, complete, sign and send it, or provide it to your attorney.
Supporting-document checklist
A practical checklist for organizing the appraisal, insurer valuation, offer, vehicle records and other supporting documents into a clear submission.
Explanation of the report
Clarification of the appraisal findings and the evidence behind them so you understand what the report supports and what questions remain.
The package supports a vehicle-value demand. It is not a complete legal case file and does not include claim negotiation, legal representation, filing a lawsuit, service of legal documents, or expert testimony.
We document value.
You or your attorney pursue the claim.
Our role
Research the vehicle and market, prepare the appraisal, explain our findings and provide the demand-letter and supporting-document materials described in the engagement.
Your role
Confirm the facts, decide what to request, send the demand and handle responses. Get legal advice about fault, coverage, releases, deadlines, court procedure or injury claims.
The at-fault driver’s insurer is not your insurer.
Do not assume your own policy’s appraisal clause applies to a third-party claim. An appraisal report can support your position, but it does not force an insurer to accept your demand.
From a low offer
to an organized value demand.
- Confirm the service fits. Identify whose insurer is handling the loss and gather the complete valuation and written offer.
- Document the vehicle. Provide accurate equipment, mileage, condition and available records. Tell us about modifications or unusual features.
- Receive the appraisal and materials. Review the valuation findings, editable demand letter and supporting-document checklist.
- Present the evidence. You or your attorney submit the demand, keep copies and track responses and deadlines.
- Decide on further help. If value remains disputed or legal issues arise, consult a qualified attorney. Attorney availability and acceptance are separate.
A research tool is not
a professional opinion.
AI can misidentify equipment, combine incompatible vehicles or repeat unreliable listing details. Our appraisers check those details against available evidence and control the final valuation. Technology helps the research. People remain responsible for the conclusion.
Why Total Loss Network →Know the package before you order.
Report-only is a fixed-price service. It includes the appraisal and the demand-support materials described above. Third-party negotiation and legal services are not included.
Know where the appraisal helps.
Will you negotiate with the at-fault insurer?
No. You or your attorney submit the demand and handle claim negotiations. We provide appraisal evidence and explain the report.
Does the letter guarantee payment or attorney fees?
No. A letter is a way to present a request and supporting evidence. Entitlement, deadlines and any attorney-fee rules depend on the facts and applicable law. Ask an attorney before relying on a particular statute or deadline.
Does this cover injuries or every loss from the accident?
No. This service concerns vehicle valuation. Injury, liability, loss-of-use, diminished-value and other issues require their own analysis and are not automatically included.
Can I use my own insurer instead?
That may be an option depending on coverage and circumstances. Ask your insurer about the applicable coverage, deductible and subrogation process. If you pursue an own-policy value dispute, our appraisal-clause service may be a better fit.
Start with the right documents.
Choose with clear information.
Have the insurer’s complete valuation, latest written offer, vehicle details and relevant policy language ready. We confirm eligibility and the written scope before an engagement begins.
The new online intake is being prepared. No documents or payments are collected on this service page.
