Review a CCC ONE valuation without losing the calculation

Read the report as a chain of inputs, comparable evidence, adjustments and a final value.

Confirm the version and vehicle inputs

Keep the report date and any revision number. Check identification, mileage, loss date, equipment and condition entries against your records. Obtain all pages; a settlement summary alone is not enough to review the comparisons.

Create a record for each comparable

Copy the VIN, seller, location, listing date, price basis, mileage and configuration into a worksheet. Check which vehicles contribute to the value and which are informational. Confirm relevant details with the seller and save the response.

Trace the adjustment sequence

Follow the report’s labels for equipment, mileage and condition. Ask whether a figure has already been adjusted before applying another amount. A repeated condition figure should be explained, but it is not automatically an improper deduction. Look for the net effect, including any credits to the loss vehicle.

Ask what was verified

Request the source of comparison-vehicle condition information. A listing photograph, seller description and physical inspection are different kinds of evidence. Do not assume that every comparable was inspected or that none were inspected. Ask for the support used in this report.

Write a focused correction request

Identify the page, input or comparable, your evidence and the correction sought. Ask for the revised report and explanation, not just a new bottom-line offer. CCC supplies valuation technology; the insurer handles your claim. Direct claim questions to the assigned representative.
