CCC, Mitchell and Audatex: compare the evidence

A report brand is a starting point for understanding the format, not a verdict on the valuation.

Questions for any report

  • Which product, version and valuation date are shown?
  • Does the vehicle description match the VIN, configuration and records?
  • Which comparisons contribute to value?
  • What sources, price bases and adjustments are used?
  • Can the insurer explain the net calculation and correct inaccurate inputs?

CCC ONE

Track the vehicle inputs, market comparisons and adjustment sequence. Keep original and revised reports. Read the CCC review guide.

Mitchell WorkCenter

Identify the configuration and methodology in the actual report. Read the available adjustment and comparison detail instead of imposing another product’s labels. Ask for omitted supporting pages.

Audatex / Autosource

Confirm the report’s exact product and source information. Investigate missing details through the insurer. Do not infer the provider or method solely from the insurance-company name.

The useful comparison

Evaluate the evidence, reproducibility and correction process. An unsupported blanket ranking of vendors will not establish your vehicle’s value.
